While waiting for Jia Yao to fetch us...

QQ Min Yen@ MinY. ^^

Heee. Seldom wear slippers. XD

Which mean "can take photo together?" or "can i take photo of your children?"
in Japanese. :DD

In Jia Yao's car. There's a sexy woman voice- the GPS. :D
"she" asked us to U-turn for more than 10 times along the journey.
coz' we're using the other way. Pity her. haha.

Too boring in the car. LOL.

Around 5pm (we hit the road at 4pm), we finally reached the Matsushita Stadium.
I was so damn excited until i was speechless. lol.

The guys. :)

The very first photo that i took when i stepped into the stadium.
That's the stage!

I was glancing around and again, so excited to see a lot of Japanese.

It was my first time talking to a Japanese using Japanese Language, which made me even more excited. XDDD (==")

The opening ceremony was going to start in 30 minutes more.

I was wondering why a lot of people taking photos behind the stage.
so i walked there and found out that they were actually taking photos of the Japanese teenagers who were going to perform that night.
My heartbeat increased like a runway horse. XD
I was SOOOO short and i tried to squeeze into the crowd, held my camera high and Zoooom.

I like it. :D

In case you are curious about "how many people were there??"

According to the "nangoku Shimbun" newspaper, there were 35 thousand people that night!

Lastly, group photo!
this one... i think it's taken by a Japanese old guy. :D

Here are some advice if you want to go to Bon Odori next year:
- Wear comfortable shoes.
Don't wear slippers or High Heels if you want to dance!

-Bring backpack, not handbag. coz' it would be very troublesome to hold it especially when you want to dance or eat.

-Bring a bigger bag, so just in case you buy a lot of food, you can put it inside.
Don't have to carry a lot plastic bags!

-There are many food stores. So you can buy some other food to eat while you line up in a very long queue.

-Better don't drink too much water.
Toilets...... are.....you know.

-If you wish to take photos with the Japanese, go earlier!
Those kids will be annoyed or tired coz' they have to smile at the camera almost all the time!

And lastly,

-Make sure your camera is fully charged! :D

I like this Japanese festival, although it's not as good as i thought.
So if you used to watch those Japanese drama or anime,
I can tell, the festival you see in tv and this Bon Odori is different,
so don't put too high expectation.
Anyway, if you are just like me, you enjoy talking to Japanese,
fond of Japanese culture, language, & food.
This event suits you.
But if you don't, it would be boring for you.

P/S: Again, HUGE thank you to Jia Yao who fetched us there and back home!! :D

-X-
